LASER EPILATION
Laser hair removal is a hair removal procedure using pulses of laser radiation that destroy the hair follicle.
A beam of light is directed to the treatment areas for local exposure. Melanin, which is in the hairs, is the main target for the laser. It absorbs light radiation and converts it into heat energy. Thermal energy destroys the hair follicle and its associated cells and supply vessels. The skin surrounding the hair is not damaged.
It takes several treatments to completely remove hair. Some follicles are in a dormant state and are not damaged during the first treatment. The success of epilation is affected by the color of the skin and hairs, as well as their thickness. Usually, complete hair removal takes from 2 to 3 months, but the first results are noticeable after the first procedure - up to 30% of hairs fall out.
